Boo to Barriers is coming to Clearfield! Join WALC at Something Wicked Coffee for a spooky season gathering where the only thing scarier than the haunted houses is how hard it can be to find a home that fits.

Grab a drink, meet your neighbors, and put your creativity to the test as we build spooky gingerbread backyard cottages. Backyard cottages, sometimes called ADUs or accessory dwelling units, are small homes on the same lot as a house. They're one of the ways communities are creating more housing options for families, older neighbors, and young people just starting out. Along the way, we'll chat about how smaller, neighborhood-scale homes can help Clearfield and Davis County offer homes for every stage of life.

Boo to Barriers is WALC's annual Halloween event series, with stops in cities across the Wasatch Front each fall. Every event follows the same fun format, so come to the one closest to you, or join us in more than one city. Check our events page for other Boo to Barriers dates.
