Utah Gives Day with WALC — Early Giving Begins April 6

Utah Gives Day is a statewide 24-hour day of giving that supports nonprofits working to strengthen communities across Utah. Early giving begins April 6, creating an opportunity to support Wasatch Advocates for Livable Communities (WALC) ahead of the official day of giving and help build early momentum for this important work.

Across the Wasatch Front, families are commuting farther, young adults are delaying putting down roots, and workers are being priced out of the communities they serve. Housing is not just a market issue—it is a community issue. The decisions shaping housing are happening every day, and they directly impact who can live, work, and stay in the places we call home.

WALC works to turn that reality into action. Through community education, local engagement, and thoughtful policy work, we focus on expanding housing options and supporting opportunity-rich, connected neighborhoods across the Wasatch Region.

With early giving now open, WALC is raising support for our advocacy, education, and outreach efforts. Your donation helps us track housing legislation, engage communities in the planning process, and advance solutions that make it easier to build a wider range of homes.

As our region continues to grow, the question is not whether we grow—but how. Together, we can help shape a future where more neighbors have a place to call home, and where communities remain vibrant, connected, and resilient.

Join us in supporting this work and helping build momentum for housing solutions across the Wasatch Front—brick by brick.

Will you come ?
